Bix: All Time Greatest Superhero: Thor vs Green Lantern

This one is tough, sure Thor is like a god but so is GL the guy can make anything appear out of thin air, the can rearrange molecules and if any of you guys are smart enough to know a tiny bit of science, controlling molecules pretty much makes you omnipotent. But then that's what a god is, except Thor is a polytheistic god, they aren't as powerful and monotheisitic gods. also which Thor are we talking about? If we are talking about the Classic/Old Thor who is bound to Dr. Blake and is unaware of omnipotence who has been defeated by lesser opponents then GL wins. If we are talking about new Thor stripped of his mortal ties then, I think Thor would fight GL for a 24 hour draw then GL would have no bars left on his battery and get demolished. but then again Thor has to recharge too, I just don't know how long a golden apple lasts. so I think I'm ill-informed on Thor to be able to answer much more. but still the question remains who is the "GREATEST" not who would win in a fight. obviously that's Green Lantern 10/02/2008 01:49
