I would have to retort with this A) It's alien crystal so how do you know it's properties krazy glue in crazy comic land? B) I'm sure Lex Luthor could make an effective weapon to kill Supe, and if....if The Punisher wanted to use to kill Supe he could and C) An effective trap ie; a cage made completely out of Kryptonite for Clark Kent to fall into would waste the wimpy press boy, turning him into a quivering pile of guano, a vehicle(with Kyptonite spikes or some other device to pierce Mr. Kent) trap set involving his precious little girl friend would suffice. Considering these factors he has a weakness that weakness can and will be exploited for all of Supe's days and his days would be numbered if The Punisher was put on his blue ass. It's very obvious that you guys knows nothing about making bullets and metals and glass properties. Ask a person like me who knows about fabricating bullets. Kryptonite is not a metal but of crystal (a form of glass) as as described in the comics. Lead or any metal and glass cannot bond together. All of you ignorants who knows nothing about metals, here is a basic information and pay attention to its details. Because Kryptonite is made of alien crystal (glass) and not metal, and if you attempt to bond it with any metals such a lead or copper commonly used in making bullets, it will not work. If you do, the crystal will separate from the metal lead and shatter to dust vaporizing at the exit point of the gun's barrel thus becomes ineffective to kill Superman from a distance. If you was to melt the Kryptonite and smolder it with the molten lead to prevent it from separation, then that would be a foolish mistake because now you have covered the Kryptonite materials and thus shielding radiation affect making it ineffective to kill Superman. Try learning about metal and crystal properties and basic knowledge about making bullets before you guys start talking about "Kryptonite bullets". It can't be done!!!! It's like that "magic bullet made of ice" that killed JFK. It's all theories and easy said than done. It's not possible… Maybe dart, arrows, spear points made of Kryptonite but not Kryptonite bullet to be used on high powered gun. Silly ignorant.... Besides that the Man of Steel is capable of moving faster the "speed of light" lightspeed equals to moving at a finite velocity of 186,000+ MILES-PER-SECOND!!! A person that fast can circum-navigate the earth's equator 7.5+ times in JUST ONE-second. It is said that Superman has an infinite speed faster than the speed of light, so he is much faster capable of traveling through time. He is faster than the CPU of computer, meaning he could outrace the CPU of a computer before the computer process a single information in nanosecond. So if you are to pay attention to details of such fantasy of a character possessing such capabilities of traveling faster than lightspeed, then his body must be made of indestructible molecule because he cound withstand such tremendous unimaginable heat. And if you was to pay attention to details of such fantasy character of having such speed, he must also posses great amount of intelligence because it can outrace and process information much faster than a computer's CPU. So to claim a man killing such person with a foolish gun is simply insane!!! Such being who could move at such speed will simple dance or encircle a moving bullet billionth times before such bullet could hit its target. The fastest bullet would probably shot from the barrel of a Winchester .223 Super Short Magnum gun. It has muzzle velocity of 4,000 feet per second equals to about "2,700 mile-per-hour" or (4400km/h). Superman can move way way much faster than that, he can move faster than lightspeed...186,000+Miles-Per-Second so It is safe to say that he could actually dance round that bullet billion times before that bullet hits its target.
