You're wrong about the 'equal in strength' part. Spider-man is a class 10 and far outclasses Wolverine in strength. And while Wolverine is the better fighter, Spiderman's super agility, reflexes and sense make up for it. In the end...hard to know. Remember the comic where it was a stalemate? Spider-Man had his hands on Wolverine's head and was ready to spin his neck to snap it (which can be done in the Marvel Universe), but Wolverine had his hand under Spider-Man's jaw ready to pop his claws up through his head? 12/06/2008 01:45

Classic match-up. From issues I've read over the years,it usually has Spider-Man finishing with the upperhand. Although Spidey does at times seem to be intimidated by Wolverine's vicious,animalistic, and ruthless nature, that doesn't change the fact the Spidey can and would kick his ass.....it's getting him to stay down that would be the problem. Despite Wolverine taking a severe pounding. The fight ends in a stand still.

this is hard...they have fought before with no clear winner. I remember spiderman pimp slapping wolverine like a broad during the secret war. I also remember them fighting in germany and though spidey did the majority of landing the blows he couldn't lay wolverine out. Wolverine told Spidey that the only way to beat him was for spidey to use all his strength and snap his neck but spidey aint no killer. The only way spidey can beat wolvie is to subdue him because that's all he can do. Wolverine will kill spidey if given the chance, but he will never catch him.
