theshootfighter84 has a legitimate point. There was a crossover story featuring Venom, Supes, and Spidey. And for some reason Venom was ultra powerful in the DC universe and was handing Superman his ass until Spidey comes along to save him.

fionnthemutt, Lobo may be an immortal but that doesn't mean he can't be beaten or die...

Vampires are considered immortal, but if you stab or impale them with a dead material such as wooden stake, they dies… So is Lobo, if Superman was to stab Lobo's from his anus through his mouth with a wooden electric pole like a Shish-Kabob, and confines him in indestructible confinement, Lobo would be done… Lobo would be in anguish for eternity...
