ya know I really do love spider man, he is my fave superhero, but considering the powers I have to agree that Jean Grey would win she's just too powerful. A more fair fight would be cosmic spidey (Captain Universe) vs Jean Gray (Phoenix) then the battle could go either way. 04/09/2008 19:24

If Jean as Phoenix hangs Spidey with his own webbing how does he survive? Simple pure intelligence. Phoenix thrives on sensations and stimuli alone. Peter is more complex. Plus I cannot stress enough how much I HATE Jean. 07/28/2007 07:02

Peter could outsmart her. I just hate Jean. Plus remember in Phoenix form Jean has no friends. Spidey has all kinds of intergalactic friends to give him advice. Regular Jean can't fly so that gives Spidey the advantage- air strikes.
