What if you always had someone to look out for, protect and fight for you and what if that person was YOU. Even though Ang Lee ruined the movie, the original story in and of itself is timeless. The Cap'n is antiquated,the idea of his heart being his greatest power in battling the Hulk is ridiculous. It suggests that love of your fellow human being conquers all and in that is simply not the case in today's world. Life is more complicated than a geek taking drugs to get strong and being backed by some or many covert gov't agencies. Actually Cap has fought almost every hero/villain in the marvel universe. He has fought the hulk to a draw. Caps greatest Power wasn's his supersoldier Serum nor was it his Shield, It was his Heart. They have redone several heroes over the years before Thor got his revamp the only mortal hero to ever weild his hammer was Cap.
