i have 2 doxies and both are love of everybody here at home.The younger died, he had a broken spinal and decided to put him to sleep , thats when i find myself in tears, he had his last breath in my arms . The others we showered it with love and find another dog for him to play , but i guess hes just too old and find him passed away . nothing can express my deep attachment to my dachshy… i love this dog 03/13/2008 11:55

Dachshunds are great!We lost 4 doxies in our house fire but since have gotten a decendent of theirs and she is now 2. Her name is Kindred Spirit and she is the love of my life...When she looks at me, I see all my pups that I lost. She fills my heart with so much love. 02/21/2008 15:22

Hey no Dalmations! I got 2 Dachshunds after my Dalmatian of 14 years passed on. Couldn't stand it so I went out and got another Dalmatian. So now I've 3 dogs (and 1 cat). 02/21/2008 11:05

I've had boxers for the last 13 years, 4 in all. Only had one that would run if you left the door open. But boxers are very loyal and very protective of my children and my property. I would just hate to see someone try to hurt my children or break in to my home when I am not there. They will eat them alive. I have owned other breeds and I undoubtedly will not own any other than the boxer. Awesome breed. 02/21/2008 07:26
