My fried breeds both Labs and Doxies. We're torn between which breed to get from her. Labs are so stable, and I've never owned a small dog for very long. I'm afraid they would be too demanding. 03/14/2008 12:55

	I have two red dachshunds, an 11 year old named Sadie Mae and a 6 year old named Kaci Roo that I could not love more than if they were my children. I take them everywhere with me (except work) because they love to travel. They eat with me, sleep with me, watch TV, and cuddle up every chance they get. We have 2 labs, Buddy and Molly, who we love dearly and could live without. This year we added a mini doxie, Lucy, to our family. We love her so. At first we were worried about the size difference with the dogs, but the labs are so gentle with her. Lucy is the in-the-house dog but all she wants is to be outside with Buddy and Molly. They are the 3 muskateers!! We are all very happy :) 03/14/2008 10:48

Ooh labs, they are so adorable and such perfect companions..you can also easily teach them tricks that would really make your day..infact, im keeping four labs (namely Maxime, Nadja, Nero and Nyke) at home..they have always been my precious treasures.. 03/13/2008 20:35

I have a gold lab he is just a wonderful dog super loyal, smart and friendly. the best dog we ever had and he is great with our kids. Our Kassey is 6 years old now and survived two surgeries. One for his knee and the other for eating things that he is not supposed, like lid bottles and everything else he finds. I just love our dog to death. 03/13/2008 19:14

	Labs over Beagles, hands down. Labs come when you call them (they are RETRIEVERS), are easier to train, shut up when you tell them to, are great family dogs, loyal, smart & will guard. Beagles never stop barking, & while they are cute, are not as smart & ultimately will drive you crazy. I happen to have an Akita (from a shelter), but would take a Lab in a second as a second dog. I have had 3 labs black and a beagle I have a lab now and still have the beagle.I love all dogs.Dogs are very loyal kind and caring spell dog backwards(God). I can not see anyone hurt or misstreat a dog the will hurt a humane .I Love all dogs But I do sleep with my lab he hogs a King size bed.And keeps husband one one side by him not me good lab 03/13/2008 14:09

I have had 2 wonderful breeds of dogs in my life… collies and labs. both breeds are amazing.. loyal, loving, protective and incredibly intellegent!! and any dog under 30 lbs isnt a dog… its a cat.. 03/13/2008 13:27
