Dachshunds are by far the best little pups!! I have one of my own and he is a long hair. Even when I am mad at him for his stubborn little personality, looking at him he is just soo cute I cannot help but kissing him so much! Doxies have the besy personality and are so lovable it is incredible! They think they are monsters and so big but when they encounter a bigger dog they run and hide but still bark! haha!! 03/14/2008 08:38

Doxies just beat all other breeds for personality! Plus, they are so adorable with their cute little legs and the flippety way they walk. They don't know they're little...doxies think they're as big and intimidating as a doberman or rottie! I just love that!

why is their no pits, on the list? pit's are very sweet loving dogs. i have had three. the female i have now lets my four year old granddaughter use her for a pillow and the pit does everything the four year old tells her to do, if my grand daughter says it's time for a nap they both go lay down with a blanket together and are asleep in no time. 03/13/2008 19:07

Rauhaar Dackel!!!! (Wirehair Dachshunds!!) We always had Dachshunds. In the absket of one of them we would always find money. Change and bills..and we always wondered why he would do that. then one day the ice cream man came and brings a 50 bill, and tells us our Dachshund gets out Every day brings him money for ice cream! But this time he brought way to much. Granted he didn't know the face value of the money, but he understood the complex concept of TRADE!!! I have always loved Daschshunds. I have one of my own. I show him in fair. Beagles are cute too, but not as cute as dachshunds. My dachshund is good with kids, other animals and he is a lifesaver too. Literally, he saved my mom from from complete robbery and almost certain death at the same time! 03/13/2008 14:18
