I've owned German Shepherd for the last 12 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Very smart,loyal, lovable and protective.My youngest is 2 and gets along wonderfully with my Beagle/Bassit Mix whos an old 10 years.Hes great with my children ranging from 9 down to 3 years of age.I love the breed! 03/14/2008 09:09

Ok Lets start off by simply saying some of you are very funny you get so worked up over what dog. The plan and simple fact is this. No dog is a bad dog. It is what makes you happy. Some say that the Bulldog is a stupid dog, or lazy dog. I dis agree, Some are just the personality, and that is every dog. All dogs are like PEOPLE YOUR EITHER SMART, STUPID, or AVERAGE. You have good days and bad. I have own a lot of types of dogs. And some where better then others. Most had personality a couple not much at all. I currently own a Bulldog, and he is great I would not trade him for anything. Is he the best I ever had yes and no. He is, his own little (person) I have received tons of complements on him from the vets, trainers, and your everyday person. But if have had the same type of remarks on others I have owned, German Shepards, American Bulldogs, Springer Spainels, Labs, ect. A lot of it is take care of your dog, and love him and you will be surprised at what he/she will do and act like. If you dont push your pet to do things it wont. Remember you are the alfa and if you can not, show that to your dog, then you will have what you feel is a bad dog. Just remember you have it becasue it brings you a millions types of emtions and feelings. Some good, some bad, some sad. But really is it not, a part of your family. Just remember show your dog unconditional love and it will do the same. in the words of Bob Barker remember have your pet sprayed or neutered. 02/22/2008 07:13

I breed bulldogs and have had many for many years and I can say that they truly are the best dogs. I have had anything froma a digging lab to a chewing retriever and none compare to my beloved bullies. Great with kids, playful and very sociable. 02/21/2008 16:54
