My niece, Katelyn, stationed at Baluud, Iraq was assigned, with others of her detachment, to be escort/guard/watcher for Martha Raddatz of ABC News as she covered John McCain's recent trip to Iraq . Katelyn and her Captain stood directly behind Raddatz as she queried GIs walking past. They kept count of the GIs and you should remember these numbers. She asked 60 GIs who they planned to vote for in November. 54 said John McCain, 4 for Obama and 2 for Hillary. Katelyn called home and told her Mom and Dad to watch ABC news the next night because she was standing directly behind Raddatz and maybe they'd see her on TV. Mom and Dad, of course, called and emailed all the kinfolk to watch the newscast and maybe see Katelyn. Well, of course, we all watched and what we saw wasn't a glimpse of Katelyn, but got a great view of skewed news..

After a dissertation on McCain's trip and speech, ABC showed 5 GIs being asked by Raddatz how they were going to vote in November; 3 for Obama and 2 for Clinton..

No mention of the 54 for McCain..

It seems that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president after all for the following reason:

Barack Obama is not legally a US natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth, which falls between December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986

Presidential office requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two US citizen parents, which of course is what exempts John McCain though he was born in the Panama Canal

US Law very clearly stipulates: "If only one parent was a US citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16"

Barack Obama's father was not a US citizen and Obama's mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a US citizen for 10 years, (or citizen perhaps because of Hawaii being a territory) the mother fails the test for being so for at least 5 years **prior to** Barack Obama's birth, but *after* age 16.. It doesn't matter *after*

In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic US citizenship.. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama's birth when she was 18 in Hawaii.. His mother would have needed to have been 16+5= 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama's birth for him to have been a natural-born citizen

As aforementioned, she was a young college student at the time and was not.. Barack Obama was already 3 years old at that time his mother would have needed to have waited to have him as the only US Citizen parent.. Obama instead should have been naturalized, but even then, that would still disqualify him from holding the office

Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President ***

Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, all the other info does not matter because his mother is the one who needed to have been a US citizen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16.. Further, Obama may have had to have remained in the country for some time to protect any citizenship he would have had, rather than living in Indonesia

Now you can see why Obama's aides stopped his speech about how we technically have more than 50 states, because it would have led to this discovery

This is very clear cut and a blaring violation of US election law..

I think the Gov of California would be very interested in knowing this if Obama were elected President without being a natural-born U..S.. citizen, and it would set precedence

It is now a certainty that the "birth certificate" claimed by the Barack Obama campaign as authentic is a photoshopped fake..

The image, purporting to come from the Hawaii Department of Health, has been the subject of intense skepticism in the blogosphere in the past two weeks.. But now the senior spokesman of that Department has confirmed to Israel Insider what are the required features of a certified birth document ~~features that Obama's purported "birth certificate" clearly lack..~~

~~The image became increasingly suspect with Israel Insider's revelation that variations of the certificate image were posted on the Photobucket image aggregation website~~ including one listing the location of Obama's birth as Antarctica, one with the certificate supposedly issued by the government of North Korea, and another including a purported photo of baby Barack ~~one of which has a "photo taken" time-stamp just two minutes before the article and accompanying image was posted on the left-wing Daily Kos blog..~~

That strongly suggests that Daily Kos obtained the image from Photobucket, not the State of Hawaii, the Obama family, or the Obama campaign.. Photobucket is not generally known as a credible supplier of official vital records for any of the fifty states, and the liberties that other Photoshoppers took with the certificates confirms this..

Janice Okubo, Director of Communications of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, told Israel Insider: "At this time there are no circumstances in which the State of Hawaii Department of Health would issue a birth certification or certification of live birth only electronically..

There is one possibility, however, which alone might justify the risk that Obama and his campaign seems to be taking in putting forward the uncertified document image: Obama was not in fact born in Hawaii and may not be an American citizen at all, or at least not a "natural born citizen" as the Constitution defines the requirement for the nation's chief executive.. Real original birth certificates, circa 1961, have all kinds of verifiable information that would confirm Obama's origins, or throw them into doubt should they be lacking..

Research has since uncovered the law, in force at the time of Obama's birth, that were he to have been born in another country, his young American mother's youth extended time abroad would not suffice to make him a "natural born citizen.." Even if he were naturalized later and there is no evidence that he was ~~he would not be eligible to run for the office of president and~~ if forgery or misrepresentation were involved ~~he and his staffers might find themselves facing stiff federal and state charges..~~

But if, at this late date, Obama has no proof of being a US citizen by law, natural born or otherwise, then he or his advisers may be tempted to try to "tough out" the allegations about his "birth certificate" or the lack thereof.. He and his campaign have gotten through other embarrassments: maybe this one will go away, too..

Because the consequences were he to admit, or should it come out, that he was not born in Hawaii would be so grave as to make it tempting to take the gamble and hope that no one dares call his most audacious bluff by demanding proof.. Talk about the audacity of hope..

~~But now the State of Hawaii has dashed those hopes by clarifying that a certified birth certificate must have an embossed seal and signature, features his claimed birth certificate image lack..~~

~~The longer Obama waits, the graver grow the consequences of waiting..~~

~~There is one simple way for the candidate to clear up the issue once and for all: produce for public inspection and objective analysis the paper copy of his original Hawaiian birth certificate~~ if one exists.. Surely it's not too much to ask from a man who aspires to hold the highest office in the land..

The issue is not whether Obama is black or white, Christian or Muslim.. It is whether he was born in the USA and thus a citizen eligible according to the Constitution to run for President..

If proof of citizenship does not exist, then surely it would be wiser to admit it now..

Because if Barack Hussein Obama II does not produce definitive proof of his "natural born" American citizenship with original, verifiable documents, he will be setting the stage for a very public battle over his personal credibility, the basic legitimacy of his candidacy, and its possible criminality..

For months during the nominating process, Michelle Obama's graduating thesis has been under lock and key at Princeton University.. The university stated suspiciously that it would be available to the public after the general election.. Nobody knew why until now!

The sequestering of an academic thesis was unprecedented at Princeton, a liberal university that prides itself on open access to scholarly information.. Despite repeated attempts by media organizations to view the document, Obama's alma mater would provide no explanation for hiding it

The thesis written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn, is titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community"

The excerpts show that Obama identifies with black militancy, utterly obsessed with race in America and her own blackness.. It is a fundamentally racist document, shocking when considering that this scholarship is the product of a presidential candidate's wife at a great university.. She mourns that she will face "further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.."Obama's thesis is full of paranoid claims and overtly racist feelings.. She cannot accept the idea of a diverse student body working together in a melting pot.. Others worry about her black militancy

"I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don't belong.. Regardless of the circumstances under which I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second

"Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America, but she elevates black over white in her world.. Only 89 responded out of 400 who were asked for input..The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration: "Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments"

The conclusion of the thesis is alarming.. Michelle Obama's poll of black alumni helps her understand that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness.. She laments that only 1/3 say they are more comfortable around black people than white people.. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community.. However, these findings do not support this possibility"

Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd and see Americans.. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another!

That is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration.. Michelle Obama's intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern!

We all know that proclaiming to be a Christian as your running for the highest office of the land is expedient to garner the Christian vote. But when a candidates’ stance on the cultural issues is at complete odds with the true Christian’s beliefs, why would a true Christian vote for such a person? They wouldn’t, and they won’t. WASHINGTON /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian group launches new effort in their campaign to educate American voters on the radical and extremist abortion policies of Senator Obama.

The campaign called, "Barack Obama: The Abortion President," will focus on how Mr. Obama wants taxpayers to pay for abortions.

The Christian Defense Coalition will have a news conference on Tuesday, July 8, at 11:00 A.M. to discuss this new campaign. They will also have large color posters and fliers.

The location of the news conference will be in front of Mr. Obama's senate office in the Hart Senate Office building on the Constitution Ave. NE entrance side.

A major part of the news conference will center on the fact that Senator Obama wants people of faith, Catholics and Evangelicals, to pay for abortions through their tax dollars.

The Chicago Tribune reported last year, when Senator Obama was "asked about his proposal for expanded access to health insurance, Obama said it would cover 'reproductive health services.' Contacted afterward, an Obama spokesperson said that included 'abortions.

Although in recent days Senator Obama has tried to downplay his extremist views on abortion, his own Presidential website says, "...he has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as President.

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, states, "Senator Obama talks about bringing hope, faith and change to American politics. We now see this is all just political 'doublespeak.' One of his top priorities as President would be protecting abortion rights and even expanding them. If elected, Senator Obama would become 'The Abortion President,' with the most extremist policies on abortion of any President in history.

Senator Obama's views on abortion are so radical that he even wants American citizens to pay for them. This would include Catholics, Evangelicals and all people of faith. He would also expand abortion rights through his passionate support of The Freedom of Choice Act.

I must say I am a bit disappointed in Obama today. I can find no fault in Wesley Clark's comments regarding John McCain's service but Obama can't distance himself fast enough. Clark spoke respectfully of McCain's service and called him a hero. He made no attacks against McCain. He simply said what many others have been thinking, how does getting shot out of the sky and spending 5 1/2 years as a POW equate to command experience? It doesn't. I know Obama is making the best political choice by disowning Clark's comments but the truth has not been served. Wesley Clark deserves better. I'm not impressed. 06/30/2008 20:23

It is great to see many Christians and evangelicals are moving beyond the divisive politics of the right-wing to embrace a new era of hope. Once easily manipulated by issues such as a woman's reproductive rights and the death penalty, many now see our nation's foreign policy conduct and stewardship of the environment are of far greater importance. No longer are young, free minded Christians responding to the fear tactics of James Dobson and John Hagee. More and more Christians are choosing hope over fear.
