Lets see let me ponder this situation. The zoo just had a mass break out and the prisoners are making demands. HMMMMM, to my left a Cobra severe neuro toxins to relatively speaking small entry wounds, a great deal of pain until you die, but darn not like getting your arms ripped off and stuck up your butt like being to ho'dvores of puck and dip talk about pain the Polar bear at best is gonna kill you severely then stash you to come back and munch out later. Oh by the way a snake is a reptile not an animal. This is most dangerous animal category. I believe you need to look at the environment the number of predators and the ability of a person in the environment. For example There are 1000 times more sharks then their are lions, and if your in the ocean you are pretty much defenseless. If you are in Forest, your odds are much lower in getting attacked especially if its hibernating season. Can you get killed when a bear is sleeping? Humans do have the advantage of envirmetal intelligence to help protect themselves. You’re in a savanna and there’s a lion. Personally I think you might be screwed… But you get the point I can tell you one thing I hike and scuba dive every year never seen a bear, seen plenty of sharks. So I believe it would be Shark, Lion, Bear.
There are to many factors for a person to conclude what more dangerous.
The bottom line is. Don’t swim in the ocean, never hike outside. Never go to Africa.
And I think you could say they are not dangerous at all..

The polar bear is by FAR the most danderous animal walkind the face of the EARTH ! He hibernate until he smells food, will swim miles in freezing water, pound thru several inches of ice, and track a man to eat,(the only animal that will). I believe that if you put yourself in each of these animals environments, the polor bear would be the most dangerous. They can swim and run faster than you and they will hunt you down for food. They are also known to very aggresive. The hippo is a close second. 08/01/2007 19:57

Actually, to set the record straight, the Polar Bear is the largest land predator in the world. Also, Polar bears are much more carnivorous than Grizzlies, who maintain a majority of their diet through plants and berries. Though the Kodiak, often generalized as a Brown bear, is the largest of the brown bear family, the records for height and weight are held by Polar bears. And, as mentioned below, they have more recorded proof of Polar bears actually stalking humans before an attack than they do on any other species of bear. 90% of all grizzly attacks are ruled out as territorial or intrusion instances.

Polar Bears are larger than grizzlies and in a recent discovery program, they explained that it is the only know animal that will actually hunt and pursue a man. Polar Bears are huge and even Steve Irwin said he would never like to get that close to one. 07/31/2007 04:19
