The most dangerous predator on earth is undoubtedly homo sapiens. Human beings not only kill more animals than any other species they also destroy their habitat. It does not matter whether we are most comfortable on land, we also lead the statistics in the water. Consider for example the number of people attacked by sharks worldwide, which is 80-120 shark bites per year, of which only 5 are fatal, now consider that humans kill 100 million sharks per year, that's 1 million sharks per attack on humans. Now stats dont show this because people encounter land animals more than sharks but in all these picks the sharks have to be ne most More dangerous simply because a human is out of his element. There is no possible way to out swim or hide from an attacking shark. Although I don’t want to tangle with any of these animals, in an all out attack by anyone of them I would rather be on land. 07/30/2007 12:10
