Glad you enjoyed it, thank you. I based my delivery this Entry on the Hank Williams Jr. original; it became the entry hurdle for all comers this Contest, ha. I'm becoming competitive after four months, but content to leave this Entry at the bottom of the Contest 41042 pack as a baseline example for future Bixters to try to improve upon. 10/12/2008 18:18
Indeed I can, thank you. As of this post (04:16, 29 July 2008 (UTC) ), I have eighteen contest and three practice Entries. My best-scoring Entry to date in a completed Contest is Entry 261196 "East Bound and Down" (style of Jerry Reed), which finished #8 of 16 in Contest 40763 "come on and sing to us" by Guyhya; I've thirteen Entries in still-active Contests.
This particular Entry, #262904, I used to set the initial bar height on Contest 41042 "Country Music Mash-up!-WIN AN IPOD" by thejadude, scheduled to run until 22 October 2008. I'm actually familiar with part of the Hank Williams Jr. playlist; the original was featured on VH1 in the 1980's. 07/28/2008 21:24

Thank you. This was my most challenging sing to date, as low and gritty is sort of out of my element. I wonder if I'd be cast as the impostor in a revision of "My Name Is Bocephus"?--Just kidding. I'm actually familiar with the Curb/WB promovideo this song from VH1; Hank had a who's who of country in that one. 07/27/2008 18:48
Thank you. I'm familiar with the Hank Williams Jr. original from VH1, but a little rusty thereon. I'm used to high and clean rather than low and gritty delivery, as well, so you could say that I was out of my element. Let's see if anyone will run through the hole I left here, OK? Thanks again, 07/26/2008 21:57
Thank you. I'm familiar with the Hank Williams Jr. original from VH1, but a bit rusty thereon, knowwhatimean? I hit my chest-voice limits on this one; let's see if anyone's willing to top me here. 07/26/2008 21:53
Thank you. I stay current on all genres that I expect to need at gigs, and Hank Williams Jr. is one source style that challenges ALL cover artists. This clip, which has elements of arena rock and blues, got airplay on modern-rock stations back in the day. Let's see how many others accept my throwdown-bulletin challenge; I'd like to see at least twenty Entries for the Mash-up. 07/26/2008 20:54
(Randall Hank Williams) Bocephus Music, ASCAP
Probably the toughest cover I've attempted, as of 28 July 2008; if memory serves me correctly, the original scored on three Billboard charts: the Hot Country, Hot Crossover, and Hot 100, simultaneously.
