Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump have one thing in common: their penchant for candor in the public arena. You have to admire Rosie for standing up to the most pompous man on television. In their banter, I give Donald Trump low marks for resorting to slings about her weight. It was downright stupid when you look at the statistics on Obesity in America...he was insulting millions of Americans. What a dope. Rosie drew first blood when she slammed the Donald for his moral hypocrisy during the Miss U.S.(?) scandal, since he's a known philanderer. She was right; he had no defense, but instead of coming clean and addressing her comments, which would have garnered my respect, he resorted to calling her a pig and said he expected her romantic partner would want to leave her when she realizes what a pig Rosie is, etc. His words were so classless and beneath his station. I was embarrassed less for her than for him. It revealed that for all of his money, he had no breeding. Rosie slammed his character for good reason, and his barrage of comments about her weight and her sexual attractiveness to her partner only reinforced what a low brow he is at his core. Too bad because I had always really liked Donald Trump. I admire his business savvy, but when he talks about having to hurt people who cross him, he sounds like an idiot. I expected Donald Trump to have a cursory knowledge of the teachings of Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra and the like, as well as the tenets of Christianity and every other religion and spiritual practice around the world. He passes himself off as an educated man. Well, maybe they don't teach character at Wharton.

Rosie doesn't deserve this at all. I think she is pretty, but just not as pretty as the other women. She is a successful woman and deserves respect. She probably has more inside of her then almost all the women shown in this contest. Your all just a bunch of rude people. Rosie was great before life in the spotlight and constant public humiliation made her very angry. We need to remember who she realy was before tabloids and gossip columnists hurt her so much. She was a GREAT comedian. She stopped laughing and became angry.... that's hurt. You guys show how cruel this world can really be to someone overweight and rejected.
